In those projects where the smartphone is not an option Air-Go Tags (wifi and BLE) are designed and integrated to be stuck in assets. The Tags don’t have the smart ability to estimate the position so they need the Air-Go Positioning Server to receive RSSI measures, filter and calculate the position.
