Air-Go is a wireless fingerprint Indoor Positioning based technology that relies on Wi-Fi and BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) beacons infrastructure. Bluetooth Low Energy beacons broadcasts advertising packets at 2.4GHz band’s channels. The WiFi beacon frame, provides the “heartbeat” of a wireless LAN -at 2.4 or 5Ghz band-, enabling additionally smartphones to establish and maintain communications. This advertising packets are sniffed and its received strength signal (RSSI) measured in order to estimate the position.
